Doing Very Well

Doing Very Well

Doing Very Well is a four-minute movie starring Jeff Mills in an excellent one-man performance.  The film follows a man and his internal monologue as he goes about his day.  The man’s sometimes dark, sometimes ridiculous thoughts often contrast with his rather mundane actions, but, like the actions, the thoughts are a part of his everyday life—things that are always there, even when he’s doing very well.

This movie was shot in 2012 in Portland and Wilsonville, Oregon, based on my personal experiences and created with my close friends.

Doing Very Well premiered February 12, 2013 at the Portland International Film Festival, with more screenings to follow later in the year.
